FRONT BRAKE CABLE
Front brake cable for the front drum brake lever assembly, catalog number 60-0563 (also D563).
This is the front brake cable listed in the control cables section of the parts book, catalog number 60-0563, also shown under the older D563 designation. It runs from the front brake lever at the handlebar down to the front brake operating arm at the wheel, pulling the mechanism closed when the lever is squeezed.

The catalog record for this one is brief and ties it to a single year of appearances, so we don't have much more detail to add beyond what's in the parts book. If you're matching this against a bike, check your own front brake setup against the listing before ordering, since cable length and routing on these old drum-brake front ends can vary.
Give the shop a call if you want us to confirm fitment before you order — we'd rather get you the right cable than have you guess off a part number alone.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
