Air control cable
Air control (choke) cable for a single-carb Triumph twin, made for American handlebars.
This is the air control cable, what most folks call the choke cable, for Triumph twins running a single Amal Monobloc carburetor. It runs from the choke lever up on the handlebar down to the carb and works the air slide that richens the mixture for cold starts. It shows up in the catalogs under the CONTROL CABLES AND AMERICAN HANDLEBARS figure, so this is the cable set up for the American-bar layout rather than export or UK bars.

Older parts books list this one as D507, which is the same physical cable as the current 60-0507 number. Triumph later revised the part to 60-0507E, so if your parts book or an old cable end shows that E-suffix number, it's the updated version of this same cable.
Our catalog record ties this to Triumph twins from the mid-to-late 1960s with a single carb setup. If you're not sure whether your bike takes this cable or the later E version, give us a call and we'll sort out which one matches your carb and bars before you order.
