Cable, twistgrip to junction box
Upper throttle cable running from the twistgrip to the junction box, Triumph control cables figure, 1964-1967 catalog listings.
This is the upper throttle cable, running from the twistgrip on the handlebar down to the junction box, part number 60-0500 (also cataloged as D500 or MC96). It's the cable that carries your throttle input the first leg of the way before the junction box splits it off to the carburetor end. Catalog listings place it in the control cables figures, including the version for American-style handlebars, with appearances spanning 1964 through 1967.

If you're working from an older Triumph parts book you may see this listed under the D500 or MC96 designation, same physical cable. The factory later revised this part and it now shows up as 60-1818E in current numbering, so if your bike's book calls for 60-0500 and that number's hard to source, 60-1818E is the one to ask for at the counter.
Cable routing and length can vary by handlebar type on these old Triumphs, so it's worth checking your bars against the figure title before ordering to make sure you're getting the twistgrip-to-junction-box cable and not a lower or throttle-to-carb section.
