Gearchange quadrant assembly
Left-shift 5-speed gearchange quadrant for the gearbox outer cover, PN 57-7021.
The 57-7021 is a gearchange quadrant, the toothed arm inside the gearbox outer cover that translates the motion of the gear lever pedal into rotation of the selector mechanism. It's the part that actually swings when you tap the shift lever, and it's what wears or cracks over time on a box that's seen a lot of miles and a lot of missed shifts.

This one lives in the GEARBOX OUTER COVER area of the parts book and shows up in catalog listings from 1976 through 1985 on the 5-speed left-foot-shift gearbox. If your box has developed sloppy, imprecise shifting or the lever feels like it's working against something worn out rather than a clean mechanism, the quadrant is one of the first things worth pulling the cover to inspect.
We stock this under 57-7021; some catalogs and parts books also list it as 57-7007 or under the older T-prefix numbers T7021 and T7007. If you're cross-referencing from an older book, those are the numbers to look for.
