CLUTCH PIN TRI/BSA 1/4X26
Clutch spring pin/stud for Triumph and BSA twins, used to secure the clutch spring hardware in the gearbox outer cover assembly.
This is the clutch pin listed in the gearbox outer cover section for Triumph and BSA machines, catalog number 57-4754. It's the small stud that holds a clutch spring in place, part of the hardware that clamps the clutch pressure plate down against spring tension inside the primary/clutch assembly. In our records it shows up under the older number 57-0423 as well, so if your parts book still lists 57-0423 you're looking at the same physical piece.

Catalog appearances for this one run from the mid-1970s onward, and it's used across both Triumph and BSA twins that share this clutch stud pattern. Since a clutch works with a full set of these pins rather than just one, take stock of how many you actually need before ordering.
Given how small and cheap it is to keep a spare or two on hand, it's a sensible one to toss in when you're already doing clutch work rather than tracking one down later mid-job.
