Quadrant – gearchange plunger
Gearchange plunger quadrant for the gearbox cover mechanism, also used in the optional 5-speed gearbox setup.
57-4374 is the gearchange quadrant used with the gearchange plunger mechanism inside the gearbox cover. It's part of the linkage that turns the movement of the gearchange lever into the rotating motion that walks the selector mechanism through the gears. The catalog also lists it under the parts required for the optional 5-speed gearbox, so it shows up in both the standard gearbox cover/gearchange/kickstart crank listing and the 5-speed conversion parts list.

The older book number for this one is T4374, in case that's what's printed in your parts book. Catalog appearances run from 1971 to 1973, though we can't say from our records exactly which specific models that spans - if you're not sure this is the right quadrant for your box, give us a call and we'll sort out fitment before you order.
If you're working through a gearchange or selector mechanism that's gotten sloppy or isn't indexing gears cleanly, the quadrant is one of the pieces worth checking along with the rest of the linkage in that cover.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
