Clutch Lever Assembly —
The clutch lever assembly that pivots inside the gearbox outer cover to actuate the clutch.
57-3629 is the clutch lever assembly, the part that lives inside the gearbox outer cover and pivots the clutch operating mechanism when you pull the clutch lever at the handlebar. Catalog listings place it squarely in the gearbox outer cover figure, so this is the lever arm and its pivot inside the cover itself, not the handlebar lever.

In our records it shows up under the earlier T3629 form as well as the current 57-3629 number, so if you're working from an older parts book and see T3629 called out, that's the same physical piece. It appears across catalog entries running from 1968 to 1971, though we can't say from what we have here which specific models those entries cover.
If you're chasing a clutch operation issue, this is one of the pieces worth checking along with the rest of the actuating mechanism in the outer cover. Give us a call if you're not sure this is the exact lever your bike needs — we can go over what's in your cover with you before you order.
