GEARCHANGE-QUADRANT B44
Gearchange quadrant for the Triumph TR25W (1968–1971) and BSA B44, part of the internal gearshift mechanism.
This is a gearchange quadrant, the part that translates the movement of the gear lever shaft into pawl movement on the camplate, part of the internal shift mechanism. Our catalog description names it for the BSA B44, and our own Triumph parts books also list this number for the Triumph 250 TR25W across 1968–1971, so this one covers both marques. It shows up in our figures under gear cluster and timing cover listings, which is where the shift quadrant lives alongside the camplate and gearbox internals.

The part carries an earlier T2692 book number and was later renumbered to 68-3069, so if you're cross-checking against an older parts book or a newer one, both numbers point at the same physical piece.
We don't have BSA-specific years tied to this number in our records, only the Triumph TR25W span. If you're sorting parts for a B44 gearbox, confirm the fitment against your own book before ordering, since we can't attach a year range to the BSA side of it.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
