BSA Folding pedal, kickstart lever
The folding foot pedal that pivots on the end of the kickstart lever.
This is the folding pedal for the kickstart lever - the little pivoting foot piece that folds flat against the lever body when you're not using it. It's a wear item that takes a beating every time the bike gets kicked over, and the pivot pin and pedal itself are what eventually go sloppy or snap off.

Our catalog shows it turning up in the kickstart and footchange figures, alongside the gear cluster and outer timing cover pages where the kickstart mechanism lives. It appears across catalog entries from 1969 into 1970.
If your kickstart lever folds up and the pedal on the end is loose, cracked, or missing, this is the part that replaces just that folding tip rather than the whole lever assembly. Give us a call if you're not sure whether your lever uses this folding pedal style before ordering.
