SPRING,KICK START T20 B40
Kickstart return spring for the Triumph T20 Cub and BSA B40, part 57-1162 (also listed as KSP2).
This is a kickstart spring, part number 57-1162, also known by the older code KSP2. The catalog description ties it to the T20 Cub and B40 models, so it's worth knowing this one crosses over outside the usual Triumph unit-twin lineup — it shows up in records for the smaller Triumph Cub as well as the BSA B40.

A kickstart spring does the job you'd expect: it's the return spring that snaps the kickstart lever back to its resting position once you've swung it through and the engine has fired. Without it working right, the lever just hangs wherever you left it instead of coming home on its own.
