Mainshaft third gear (24T)
Mainshaft third gear, 24 tooth, for the gearbox internals — also listed as T917.
57-0917 is a mainshaft third gear with 24 teeth, out of the gearbox internals catalog. The parts book lists it under the older T917 number too, so if you're working from an early parts list that's the same piece.

This gear rides on the mainshaft inside the gearbox and does its work in third, one of the pairs that determines your gearing through the box. It shows up in the catalog across a couple of entries spanning the mid-1960s, but we don't have it tied to a specific model beyond that, so check it against what's already in your box or bring in your old gear for comparison before ordering.
Gearbox internals wear as a set more often than not, so if you're replacing third gear it's worth having a look at the mating layshaft gear and the bushings nearby while the box is open.
