This is the small screw that holds the handlebar switch assemblies in place, sized 10-24 UNC by 5/8 inch. It shows up in the parts books under the handlebar and control lever figures, which is right where you'd expect a switch mounting screw to live.

The catalog lists this one across appearances from the early to mid '70s, and it carries a couple of alternate part numbers over that span, with 99-1188 being the later factory number for the same screw. If your parts book lists 54115246 or 90273A244, you're looking at the same fastener.
It's a simple item, but on a switch housing that's been in and out a few times the threads can get chewed up, so it's worth having a couple of spares in the drawer before you tear into the bars.
