BSA Fibre washer for grease nipple
A fibre sealing washer that fits under a grease nipple on swinging arm, centre stand, or rear brake pivot points.
This is a small fibre washer that seats under a grease nipple, part number 54-4302. It shows up in the parts-book listings for the swinging arm, centre stand, and rear brake control assemblies, where grease nipples were used to lubricate pivot points.

The fibre construction gives a soft seal under the nipple so grease stays put and doesn't weep back out around the threads. It's a cheap piece to lose track of during a rebuild, so if you're servicing any of those pivot points it's worth having a few spares on hand.
