BSA Screw, stop lamp switch (3/16" British Standard Cycle × 1/2")
A 3/16 in. British Standard Cycle by 1/2 in. screw used to mount the stop lamp switch.
This is a small screw used to mount the stop lamp switch on the electrical side of the bike. The size is 3/16 inch British Standard Cycle thread by 1/2 inch long, which is the small fine-pitch thread you find on a lot of British electrical hardware from this era rather than a standard Whitworth or UNF fastener.

It shows up across several of the electrical equipment diagrams in the parts books, which tells us it's a hardware item used more than once in the wiring and switch assemblies rather than a one-off. The catalog entries we have for it run from 1969 to 1971, though that reflects the years it appears in our records rather than a firm statement on exact model fitment.
It's cheap enough and small enough that it's easy to lose track of when you're pulling a switch apart, so it's worth keeping a couple on hand if you're servicing the stop lamp switch or doing a general electrical going-over.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
