BSA Nut, clutch spring (1/4" British Standard Cycle)
1/4 inch BSC nut used to secure the clutch springs in the primary chaincase.

This is the small nut that holds down each clutch spring in the primary chaincase, threaded 1/4 inch British Standard Cycle. There are usually several of these around the clutch spring plate, each one compressing a coil spring that keeps pressure on the clutch pack.
