Air valve
An Amal carburetor air valve used in the T90/T100 family carburetor assemblies.
This is an air valve out of the Amal carburetor used on Triumph's smaller unit twins. It's a carburetor internal part, working alongside the slide and jet assembly to help manage the air/fuel mix as the throttle opens and closes. If your carb is running rough or hunting at idle, a worn or sticking air valve is one of the things worth checking inside the mixing chamber.

The catalog shows this part turning up across carburetor figures for the T90 and T100 family, including T100C and T100SS listings, spanning several mid-1960s catalog years. That tells you which carburetor assemblies it belongs to, but it doesn't pin down which exact machine years it suits, so check it against your own carb before ordering.
