TLS BRAKE FRONT ARM, EXTENDED 1 7/8-LONG
Extended 1 7/8-inch front brake arm for a twin leading shoe (TLS) front brake setup.
This is the extended front brake arm for a twin leading shoe (TLS) front brake setup, part number 37-3913. The catalog notes it as an extended arm measuring 1 7/8 inches long, which sets it apart from the standard-length arm used on the same TLS assembly.

The brake arm is the lever that mounts on the brake plate spindle and gets pulled by the cable or rod to actuate the shoes. On a TLS front brake there are two arms working together, and the extended length on this one changes the leverage and cable geometry compared to the shorter arm.
We don't have much more on file for this one beyond the catalog line itself. If you're rebuilding a TLS front brake and aren't sure whether your setup calls for the standard or extended arm, give us a call before you order so we can help you sort out which one you need.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
