Grease nipple
A grease nipple (PN 37-2326, formerly W2326) used at wheel hub and brake linkage pivot points on these Triumphs.
This is a grease nipple, part number 37-2326, also listed under the older W2326 designation. It shows up in the catalog under both the footrests and brake linkage figure and the rear wheel figure, which tells you this fitting was used at more than one grease point on the bike rather than being tied to a single spot.

A grease nipple like this threads into a bearing housing or pivot point so you can push fresh grease in with a grease gun without tearing the assembly down. On these older Triumphs they turn up at wheel hubs and at linkage pivots where dirt and moisture work their way in over time, so keeping the nipple clear and the fitting greased is cheap maintenance against wear.
Our catalog record spans 1968 to 1970 across the appearances we have on file, but we don't have a breakdown of exactly which years or models each usage covers beyond that. If you're matching this to a specific hub or linkage pivot, check the fitting against your parts book or give us a call before you order.
