Q.D. REAR WHEEL COMPLETE
A complete quickly-detachable rear wheel assembly for a Triumph, listed under the Q.D. wheel system.
This is a complete quickly-detachable rear wheel assembly, listed in the catalog as Q.D. REAR WHEEL COMPLETE. The Q.D. system was Triumph's answer to fixing a flat on the road without pulling the whole rear end apart - the wheel comes out of the frame while the brake drum and sprocket stay put on the swinging arm. This part number covers the complete wheel unit rather than an individual spoke, hub, or bearing.

Our catalog record only ties this to a single listing year, so we can't tell you which specific models it was fitted to beyond that. If you're matching this up to a bike in the shop, bring in your old wheel or check your frame and hub details before ordering - Q.D. hubs went through changes over the years and you want to be sure the splines and fittings line up.
The alternate number W1602 is the same physical part under a different catalog listing, so if you've seen it referenced that way in an older parts book, that's this wheel.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
