Thick rear axle nut, 7/8 UNEF, 1 5/16 hex, for QD rear wheel setups, PN 21-2012 (37-3425).
This is the thick rear axle nut for the quickly-detachable rear wheel setup, PN 21-2012, also known under its older factory number 37-3425. The catalog spec calls it out at 7/8 UNEF thread with a 1 5/16 hex and 7/16 thick body, which is what sets it apart from the thin version of this nut used in the same assembly.

On a QD rear wheel the axle nut is what clamps everything together and keeps the wheel located and secure once the axle is drawn up tight, so it is not a part to leave worn or buggered up. If your book lists this as 37-3425, that is the same physical nut, just under the pre-renumbering part number.
