Throttle needle
Amal carburetor throttle needle, PN 19-3137 (Amal ref 622/124), fits into the slide to meter fuel with throttle opening.
This is the throttle needle for an Amal carburetor, listed under 19-3137 with the alternate Amal reference 622/124. The needle rides inside the carburetor slide and works with the needle jet to meter fuel as you roll the throttle open, so it has a direct hand in how the engine responds off idle and through the midrange.

Our catalog shows this part turning up across carburetor and air cleaner figures in the parts books, with appearances running 1970 to 1971. It's a small, easily overlooked piece, but a worn or wrong needle can throw off carburetion even when everything else on the carb is right.
If you're rebuilding a slide or chasing a flat spot in the throttle response, it's worth checking this needle against what your parts book calls for before you order. Give us a call if you want to confirm which needle your particular carb setup needs.
