Washer — banjo bolt
A sealing washer that fits under the banjo bolt on Amal carburetors.
This is a washer that seats under the banjo bolt on Amal carburetors, showing up in the carburetor figures for machines cataloged from 1970 to 1972. It's a small sealing washer, part of the fitting where the fuel line banjo connects into the carb body, and it's the kind of part that's easy to lose track of when you're pulling a carb apart for a clean or a float bowl service.

Because it lives right at a fuel joint, it's worth checking whenever you have the banjo fitting off - a worn or flattened washer at that joint is a common source of a weep or a drip you can't otherwise explain. The catalog lists it under Amal in the carburetor figures, so it's tied to the carb, not the tank or the taps.
If you're rebuilding a set of carbs and see fuel staining around the banjo bolt, this washer is one of the first things to replace along with anything else at that joint. Keep a spare or two on hand since it's a part you don't want to be without mid-rebuild.
