Bolt Motor fixing front
Front engine mounting bolt, 7/16 inch UNF x 3 1/2 inch hex bolt that secures the front of the motor to the frame.
This is the front motor mounting bolt, the hardware that clamps the front of the engine to the frame cradle. It shows up in the parts book under MOTOR UNIT FITTINGS AND FOOTRESTS and again in FOOTRESTS AND ENGINE MOUNTINGS, which tells you it's doing real structural work holding the powerplant in place at the front mounting point.

It's a 7/16 inch UNF hex bolt, 3 1/2 inches long. That's a common size for engine mounting hardware on these frames, and it's worth checking the thread and length against what's already in your bike before you order, since engine mount bolts take a lot of stress and you don't want to mix up a similar-looking bolt from another location on the frame.
Our catalog record shows this part turning up across a long span of years, so it's been a steady, unchanged piece of hardware rather than something that got redesigned partway through production. Confirm fitment against your own frame and motor before ordering if you're not sure it's the exact one you need.
