BSA Pivot bolt, pillion footrest (5/16" U.N.F. × 1")
5/16 in. U.N.F. by 1 in. pivot bolt for the pillion (passenger) footrest.
This is the pivot bolt that the pillion footrest swings on. It's a 5/16 in. U.N.F. bolt, 1 in. long, and it's the pin the passenger peg folds around when it's not in use. Small part, but if it's worn, bent, or the threads are stripped, the footrest will feel sloppy or won't hold its position.

Our catalog record shows this bolt turning up across several frame and footrest figures, so it's a part that gets reused in more than one spot on the bike, not just the passenger peg mount. It also carries the older 14-215 number in some parts books, so if you're working from an older reference and see that instead of 14-0215, it's the same bolt.
Worth checking the pivot hole and any bushing or washer that rides with it when you replace this, since a fresh bolt won't fix play caused by a worn footrest bracket.
