Bolt, body to mounting ; 1 4" UNF x 5/8" UH
A 1/4 inch UNF x 5/8 inch under-head hex bolt Triumph used as a general mounting fastener for fenders, panels, exhaust brackets, and more.
This is a basic 1/4 inch UNF hex bolt, 5/8 inch under-the-head length, that Triumph used all over the place as a general mounting fastener. It's not tied to one job on the bike - the parts books show it holding fenders and fender stays, side panels, tail lamp supports, exhaust brackets, electrical boxes, and various other body and chassis fittings. If you're chasing down a small hex bolt that's gone missing from a mudguard stay or a side cover bracket, this is a good candidate to check against.

Because it shows up in so many different assemblies across so many years in the catalog, it's less a single dedicated part and more of a shop-standard fastener Triumph reached for wherever a 1/4 UNF x 5/8 UH bolt did the job. The catalog also lists it under a modern hardware-house number, 92865A004, alongside the older Triumph numbering.
Given how many places this bolt turns up, it's worth grabbing more than one if you're doing a fender, side cover, or exhaust bracket job - odds are you'll find more than one spot that needs it.
