KICKSTART LEVER, NORTON MK2A-3 - ANDOVER
Kickstart lever for Norton Commando MK2A-3 Andover gearboxes, PN 12-1018.
This is a kickstart lever for the Norton Commando, MK2A through MK3 Andover-built machines, not a Triumph part despite how it's filed in some of our records. The manufacturer tag on this one is off — the catalog description names Norton plainly, so that's what it is.

It bolts onto the splined kickstart shaft coming out of the gearbox outer cover and gives you the lever arm to swing the engine over by hand. If you're running a Commando with the Andover-era gearbox cover, this is the lever that fits the shaft profile from that period.
We only show this appearing once in our records, tied to 1975, so treat that as the one data point we've got rather than a broad fitment window. If you're not sure which kickstart shaft your box has, give us a call before ordering.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
