Split pin
A 1/16 in. by 1/2 in. split pin used in the gearbox selector mechanism and on petrol tank fittings.
This is a plain split pin, the kind you carry a handful of in a tin at the back of the workbench. The catalog lists it at 1/16 inch by 1/2 inch, and it turns up in both the gearbox selector mechanism and on petrol tank fittings, so it's one of those small, general-purpose pieces the factory used in more than one spot rather than a part built for a single job.

Because it does gearbox selector duty as well as tank fixing duty, don't assume there's anything unusual about it. It's a standard split pin sized for whatever pin, clevis, or shaft it's meant to lock in place, and it gets discarded and replaced every time you pull the item it's securing.
Our catalog record on this one is thin beyond the size and the two figure listings, so if you're matching it to a specific selector shaft or tank stud, bring the old one in or give us a call and we'll confirm before you order.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
