Norton Bracket, Coil
A coil mounting bracket for holding the ignition coil in place, part number 06-2577.

It's a simple sheet-metal or cast piece, nothing complicated, but if it's cracked, bent, or missing, the coil has nowhere secure to sit and can end up rattling around or pulling on its own wiring.
