Norton Master Cylinder Body (not available separately)
Master cylinder body for the front disc brake setup, not sold separately from the full master cylinder assembly.
This is the master cylinder body from the front disc brake setup, shown in the handlebar and disc brake master cylinder catalog listings from the early 1970s. The catalog notes this piece isn't sold separately from the rest of the master cylinder assembly, so if you're chasing a rebuild you'll want to look at the complete unit rather than this body alone.

The master cylinder is what turns a squeeze on the front brake lever into hydraulic pressure at the caliper, so it's a piece worth getting right if you're restoring the front brake system on a bike that came with a disc setup. Since this number shows up specifically tied to the disc brake master cylinder and hose group, it's not something you'd find on the earlier drum-brake front ends.
Given that it's not available as a standalone part, call the shop before you order so we can steer you to the correct complete assembly for what you're working on.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
