Plain washer (3/8 in.)

A plain 3/8 in. flat washer used as general hardware across many Triumph assemblies from forks to frame to footrests.

PN · S25-2

S25-2 is a plain 3/8 in. washer used all over the Triumph range as general hardware. Our catalog shows it turning up in fork assemblies, frame fittings, mudguard mounts, fuel and oil tank hardware, footrest and brake linkage points, and crankcase fittings, among other spots — it's a basic flat washer that shows up wherever a 3/8 in. fastener needs one under the nut or bolt head.

Because it's a generic piece of hardware rather than a one-off, S25-2 shows up in well over a hundred rows across the parts books, spanning bikes cataloged from 1960 through 1973. That breadth is exactly why it's worth having a few of these on the shelf — chances are your build needs one somewhere, but the catalog record doesn't pin any single one down to a specific mounting point on your bike.

If you're chasing down a washer for a particular assembly — forks, frame, tank mounts, whatever it is — just confirm the 3/8 in. size against what's actually on your bike before you order, since this same washer gets called out in a lot of different places in the books.
