Norton Connecting Rod Self Locking Nut
Self-locking nut for the connecting rod assembly, engine bottom end.
PN · NM.23253
This is the self-locking nut used on the connecting rod assembly, listed in the catalog under the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, camshaft and timing gear section for the engine bottom end. It's a small but critical fastener that keeps the rod cap secured to the connecting rod, which in turn keeps the whole rotating assembly together under load.
