ANTI SUMP VALVE UK MADE
A UK-made anti-sump valve fitted in the oil line to keep oil from draining into the sump when the engine's been sitting.
This is an anti-sump valve, made in the UK, listed under part number JRC-ASUMPUK (also shows up in some records as CS-3658 or JRC ASUMP UK). An anti-sump valve is fitted in the oil feed line on dry-sump British twins to stop oil from draining down into the sump or crankcase while the engine sits idle, which is what causes the wet-sumping and hard-starting/smoking-on-startup problem a lot of these older bikes are prone to.

Our records on this one are thin beyond the basic description, so we can't speak to exact thread size, fitting style, or which oil line it's meant to splice into. If you're trying to match this to your bike's oil feed setup, give us a call and we'll go over what you've got before you order.
