This is a Boyer Bransden electronic ignition kit, part number JRC-3580, for 6-volt BSA and Triumph machines running one or two cylinders. It replaces the points and mechanical advance setup with electronic ignition, which is the whole point of a Boyer conversion - you get rid of the wear points on the contact breaker and the timing stays consistent as the unit ages.
