Trispark solid-state regulator/rectifier that works with either single-phase or three-phase alternators.
This is the Trispark regulator/rectifier, built to work with either a single-phase or three-phase alternator setup. It takes the raw AC current coming off the alternator and converts it to regulated DC to charge the battery and run the electrics, taking the place of the separate mechanical regulator and rectifier units (or the zener diode setup) that came stock on these bikes.
