Pump body

The pump body housing from a 1960-62 era oil pump assembly, part of the engine's lower-end oiling system.

PN · GS35

GS35 is the pump body for the oil pump on the engine's lower end. It's the housing that the pump's internal gears or plunger elements ride in, part of the oiling system that keeps the crank and other bearing surfaces supplied under pressure.

This one shows up in the parts book under the OIL PUMP AND RELEASE VALVE AND MANIFOLD figure, alongside the release valve and manifold parts that make up the rest of that assembly. Catalog listings for it run from 1960 to 1962, though we don't have a specific model tied to it beyond that.

If you're rebuilding an oil pump from this era, it's worth checking the body for wear at the gear or plunger bore before you put it back into service. Give us a call and we can help confirm what you've got before you order.
