SPEEDO CABLE 5'6 UK MADE (VENHILL)
UK-made 5'6" speedometer drive cable, also cross-referenced to legacy number 60-3249.
This is a speedometer cable, made in the UK, running 5 foot 6 inches long. It's the drive cable that connects the speedo head to the gearbox drive, spinning the needle as the front wheel turns. Catalog records show this one under the legacy number 60-3249 as well, so if your parts book lists that number, it's the same cable.

The cable itself is a simple wear item — the inner core and outer casing take a beating from vibration, road grime, and tight routing bends over the years, so a snapped or seized speedo cable is a common complaint on these old twins. Because it's not listed against a specific model or year range in our records, check the routing and end fittings on your bike against the cable before you install it.
If you're not sure whether this length and end-fitting combination matches what's currently on your bike, give us a call and we'll help sort it out before you order.
