Tickler complete
Tickler assembly for the TR7RV's Amal carburetor, used to flood the float chamber for cold starts.
This is the tickler assembly for the Amal carburetor fitted to the TR7RV, part number 622/172. The tickler is the little spring-loaded plunger on top of the float chamber that you press down to flood the carb and richen the mixture for a cold start, before the days of chokes on these bikes.

Our catalog record ties this one specifically to the TR7RV carburetor figure, so it's built for that application rather than being a generic Amal part. If your carb has taken a tickler off before ordering, check that the float chamber top matches so the new one seats and seals correctly.
It's a simple wear item — the spring and plunger see a lot of thumb pressure over the years, and a tired one will flood the carb or fail to prime it properly. Worth having on hand if you're doing carb work on a TR7RV.
