622/128 Jet holder

Jet holder for the Amal Mk II Concentric carburetor, factory number 622/128.

PN · 99-7082
Superseded by 622/128.

This is the jet holder for the Amal Mk II Concentric carburetor, the part that carries the main jet down in the float bowl area of the carb body. It's a small brass-colored fitting but it does real work — it locates the jet and lets fuel draw up through it into the mixing chamber. If it's worn, cracked, or the threads are chewed up, you can get fuel leaks or inconsistent jetting no matter how carefully you've set up the carb otherwise.

Our records show this one turning up in the Amal Mk II Concentric carb figures for the T140E and T140D, so it's associated with those later unit-construction carbs rather than the earlier Monobloc setup. The factory number for this part is 622/128, and that's also the number it's superseded by, meaning this is the current listing.

If you're rebuilding an Amal Mk II Concentric and the jet holder is questionable, it's worth replacing along with the rest of the small carb hardware while you've got things apart. Give us a call if you're not sure which carb body you're working with — the jet holder needs to match the Concentric it's going into.
