Throttle return spring
Throttle return spring for the Amal carburetor on the T140V.
This is the throttle return spring for the Amal carburetor fitted to the T140V, the spring that pulls the throttle slide back closed when you let off the twist grip. It's a small, easy-to-overlook part but the bike doesn't idle right or self-close the throttle without it doing its job.

It shows up in the parts book under the CARBURETOR T140V figure, and carries the alternate number 622/131 alongside the 99-1033 stocking number - same physical spring, just two different ways it's been listed over the years.
If your slide feels sluggish coming back to idle or hangs up at all, this is one of the first cheap suspects worth checking before you start chasing carb slide wear or cable binding.
