Damper tube and valve assembly

Damper tube and valve assembly for the Triumph telescopic front fork, catalog number 97-4325.

PN · 97-4325

This is the damper tube and valve assembly out of the telescopic front fork, catalog number 97-4325 (also listed under the older H4325 alias). It's the internal piece that rides inside the fork leg and controls oil flow as the fork compresses and rebounds, which is what keeps the front end from feeling like a pogo stick.

This one shows up in the fork figures across catalog listings running from 1974 to 1983, so it's a part Triumph carried for a good while in the telescopic fork lineup. Since fork internals get revised across those years, it's worth checking your fork leg and existing damper setup against this number before ordering.

If you're rebuilding a fork leg and pulling this out, give the rest of the damper rod, springs, and bushes a look while you're in there — it's a lot easier to sort the whole internal stack in one go than to open it back up in six months.
