Damper tube and valve assembly
A damper tube and valve assembly for the Triumph telescopic front fork, also listed as H4324.
The 97-4324 is a damper tube and valve assembly for the telescopic front fork. It's the internal piece that controls oil flow inside the fork leg as the fork compresses and rebounds, which is what keeps the front end from feeling like a pogo stick over bumps. The older parts books list this same piece under H4324, so if you're working from an early catalog or a fork leg with that number stamped on it, you're looking at the same part.

This one shows up in catalog records for the telescopic front fork assembly across a few model years in the early '70s. Because damper internals vary by fork type and year even within Triumph's own lineup, it's worth double-checking what's actually in your fork legs before ordering — a damper tube that looks close can still be wrong for your application.
If you're rebuilding a fork leg and this part is worn, pitted, or the valve action feels sloppy, replacing it along with fresh seals and bushings is generally part of doing the job right, since the damper is what the rest of the fork internals rely on to work properly.
