Front mudguard (fender), Triumph part 97-4272, listed in the 1972 750cc supplement.
This is the front mudguard, listed in Triumph's catalog as 97-4272 with the legacy alias H4272. It shows up in the FENDERS AND TAIL LAMP figure of a 1972 supplement to the 750cc replacement parts catalogue, which puts it on the front wheel doing the job every front fender does: keeping road spray and grime off the rider and the front of the engine.
