LEFT BOTTOM MEMBER. c/w CAP

Left-hand front fork bottom member with cap, from the FRONT FORKS section of the parts book.

PN · 97-3921

This is a left-hand fork bottom member, listed with its cap, out of the FRONT FORKS section of the parts book. The bottom member is the lower slider casting that the front fork leg rides in — it's the part that actually houses the internals down at the bottom of the forks and takes the load off the road. The catalog also lists this under the older H3921 number, which is the pre-1970s alias for the same casting.

Our record only shows this appearing once, tied to 1970. If you're matching this up against your own fork legs, get the part in hand and compare it to what's currently on the bike before you order, since fork bottom members changed over the years and left/right versions aren't interchangeable with each other.

Call or send photos if you're not sure this is the correct side or version for your forks — we'd rather confirm than have you sending it back.
