RIGHT BOTTOM MEMBER c/w CAP

Right-hand front fork bottom member complete with cap, from 1969 front fork parts listings.

PN · 97-2295

The 97-2295 is the right-hand bottom member for the front fork, sold complete with its cap. On these front forks the bottom member is the lower slider casting that the fork tube rides in and that the wheel spindle and mudguard stays attach to, so it takes the brunt of road shock and bears the weight passed down through the leg.

This is the right side casting specifically, paired on the bike with a left-hand counterpart, and it comes through with the cap already fitted so you're not hunting down a separate piece to seal it up. The older parts book form of this number is H2295, in case that's what's printed in your reference.

Our catalog record ties this to front fork figures from 1969 listings, but we don't have more beyond that. Give us a call and we'll confirm it lines up with what's on your bike before you order.
