Air slide (99-0528)
The choke air slide from an Amal Concentric carburetor, restricting intake airflow to richen the mixture for cold starts.
This is the air slide out of the choke assembly on an Amal Concentric carburetor, part number 928/062, which our records show supersedes the earlier 99-0528 number. If you've got a parts book listing 99-0528 for a choke slide, this is the current equivalent part.

The air slide sits in the choke circuit of the carburetor body and moves to restrict airflow through the intake when the choke lever is pulled, richening the mixture for cold starts. It shows up in our catalog against Amal carburetor listings for the T120R and TR6R/TR6C, as well as a cylinder block and head figure for the T140, which tells you this part traveled across the Concentric-carb lineup rather than being tied to one specific model.
If you're rebuilding a choke assembly and the old slide is worn, sticking, or missing entirely, this is the piece to replace. Give us a call if you're not sure which carburetor body you're working with before ordering.
