Throttle valve (slide) with a #5 cutaway for the Amal 900-series carburetor.
This is a throttle valve, also called a slide, for the Amal 900-series carburetor. Number 5 refers to the cutaway size, which is stamped or noted on the part itself and affects how the engine picks up throttle off idle. The slide is the piece that rides up and down inside the carb body, controlled by the throttle cable, opening and closing the venturi as you twist the grip.
