TANK BADGE BLACK W/GOLD T
Black-and-gold T tank top badge that presses into a rubber grommet sealing the tank's mounting access hole.
This is the top tank badge, black background with a gold T, the emblem that plugs the access hole in the top of the petrol tank where the mounting hardware lives underneath. It sits in a rubber grommet that seals that hole and holds the badge in place with a press fit, so the badge and grommet work together as one small assembly rather than the badge just sitting there on its own.

Catalog listings tie this badge to the grommet part number 97-5061, and it shows up on Bonneville/Tiger/TR7 era tank tops from the mid-to-late 1970s in other parts references. We don't have much more depth on this one in our own records beyond that, so if you're not sure your tank uses this badge and grommet combination, give us a call and we'll confirm before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
