FILTER ASSY CENTER 900 UK - Replaces 60-1053, 68-4635, 82-8196, 82-8401
Center-mount air filter assembly for Amal 900-series Concentric setups, cataloged as FILTER ASSY CENTER 900 UK.
This is the center-mount air filter assembly that sits between the carburetors on certain Amal 900-series Concentric setups, cataloged as FILTER ASSY CENTER 900 UK. It appears in the parts book under the battery carrier and air filters figure, and the catalog record we have ties it to a single 1970 listing, so treat that as the extent of what we can confirm rather than a broad fitment claim.

The part carries a string of older factory numbers behind it - 60-1053, 68-4635, 82-8196, and 82-8401 - meaning if your parts book lists any of those, you're looking at the same physical piece under an earlier number. It's also come through under the alias CAW 237G and the supplier code F11536, so don't be thrown off if you see it listed that way in an old catalog or on a box.
Triumph later renumbered this to 83-1536T, so if you're cross-referencing against a newer parts book or a supplier list, that's the number that replaced it. Given how many numbers this one filter has answered to over the years, it's worth double-checking against what's actually on your bike before you order, especially if you're trying to match up an adapter for a specific carb series.
