TOOL BOX/SIDE CVR PAINTED
Painted toolbox side cover panel, new production, also known by the earlier part number 82-8042.
This is a painted toolbox side cover, the panel that tucks in under the seat on the side of the bike and gives you a spot to stash tools or just fill out the lines of the frame. It's listed under 83-1358P in our records, with 82-8042 as the same part under an earlier number.

It comes through as new production and already painted, so it's ready to bolt on. Because it's a repop rather than an original, expect the finish to be good enough for a rider but not necessarily good enough to pass muster on a full restoration - if you're chasing concours points you'll want to plan on repainting it to match.
Our catalog entry on this one is brief, so if you've got a specific bike in mind, give us a call and we can talk through what side cover you actually need before you order.
