Clip - feed pipe

A clip that secures the oil feed pipe to the frame, listed under 82-9073.

PN · 82-9073
Supersedes 60-2252 — earlier factory number for this part.

This is a small clip that holds the oil feed pipe in place, showing up in the catalog under Frame and in the Oil and Breather Pipes section, as well as Oil Tank, Panels and Exhaust System listings. It's the kind of part that never gets noticed until it's missing, at which point the oil line starts flapping around near the frame or engine and rubbing somewhere it shouldn't.

The part carries a factory supersession, having replaced the older 60-2252 number, so if your parts book lists that number you're looking at the same clip under its earlier identity. It also shows up under the F9073 and 53175K88 forms in some references, which just means suppliers have catalogued it a few different ways over the years.

Given what a basic piece of hardware this is, we don't have a lot more to add. It shows up across catalog entries spanning 1968 to 1980, but we'd rather you check it against your own oil line routing than guess at exact-year fitment from us. Cheap enough to keep a couple on hand when you're doing pipe work.
